On this adventure, we will be paralleling the Great Divide--home to some of the most dramatic vistas in all of North America. Snowcapped mountains engulf the landscape, casting shadows on the glacial streams. During the 1800s, fur traders used a similar route. The Icefields Parkway and the Athabasca Glacier are part of the Columbia Icefield – a dramatic 200 square mile stretch of land filled with glaciers. You may have an opportunity to ride across a 1,000-foot thick glacier or walk on the Glacier Skywalk.
